The work that our carers do is highly important and valuable to our clients and the wider community. We offer highly competitive rates to make sure that your time is given the rewarded with the compensation that it deserves. 


For a 30 minute shift, our carers receive €8 from Monday to Saturday and €10 on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Our hourly rates are €11.50 per hour from Monday to Saturday, €12.65 per hour on Sundays and €14.38 per hour on Bank Holidays. 

  1. Training & Development

To become a carer, you need to have achieved a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person. At Comfort Keepers, we provide all of the training a Home Care Assistant needs, completely free of charge before you ever step foot in a client’s house.

We also foster a spirit of continuous and ongoing development for members of our team and provide learning opportunities such as our online education platform LearnUpon which can be accessed by all carers.

We offer our Carers guaranteed working hours to foster stable income for them. At Comfort Keepers, all Personal Protection Equipment (aprons, gloves etc) is provided free of charge and we arrange Garda Vetting to save you time.
